Well, I started my peds rotation last week and after a little bit of a scheduling issue, I'm finally where I'm going to be for the month. I really like the clinic and everyone is super nice there. It's a shame that David and I don't live in our old apartment. The clinic I am at is about 5 minutes from our old apartments. It would be an awesome drive every morning. Oh well, the drive right now isn't too terrible. And besides, what could be better than being back in KC with my hubby over Christmas time?
Well, of course while on my peds rotation, I got sick. In like the first week, I know. It's some new record I think. And then David got sick about the same time. So I think one of the little darlings at work gave me a viral cold. It was so kind of them. But I got over mine in about 12-24 hrs. Poor David is still sick from his. So I've started telling him that my immune system is like Rocky. His immune system is more like the Russian that Rocky beats up on. It's kind of funny to tease him.
In happier news, I'm 99.99% sure that I will get to come home earlier than expected for Christmas eve. Which is super exciting and I can't wait to see everyone and eat all the good food. I'm so thrilled.
Well, I'm going to go accomplish something. Maybe. If I can find my motivation.
